my mother wont let me have music as a major, she wants me to have a major that i can get into a job that will make money... i will have music as a minor, but what should my major be? possibly something that will help me get into a musical career or something... +any good music colleges that you know of in the world, that have a late deadline?

The reality is that you don't need a music degree to have a career in music.

What other interests do you have? Were you good at math? Science? There are lots of possibilities in the music industry besides performing.

You are not too late to get into college for Fall, 2007, but you need to act quickly.

if you want something that makes money, engineering or business. If you want music, apply to places like Curtis, NYU, Julliard, USC. As for late deadlines, sorry, no idea ^^;
