one of my friend last chatted to me in mid of november 2006. Since then she is offline. i want to find her ip address.

I don't think there's any chance of you finding out her ip address now because the ip address you might get now will be of hotmail. Anyways if she was using a dial up conection then it gets changed everytime you login so no luck there also. But if she does have a static ip address then

I agree that there's no way to obtain her IP address as it depends from where she chatted(home, cyber cafes, etc). Better wait for her to get online again to chat with her.

I dont think you can do that.. You can check your own at whatismyip.com.
It takes alot of stuff to track her IP address, it can also vary from places she chatted (internet cafe, home, school etc)

It's not her IP address you need, that won't help you to find her.
You need her email address and unfortunately there are no email directories.

if you chatted thru im (yahoo, msn) than you can send a message to them, can also look on there profile and see if it has there email address

click on start
click on run
type in cmd
then type in ipconfig
hey presto it shows you ip address
