Whats the best way to deal with peodophiles?

I am sick of this. Recently a peodophile, described by the police as "extremely dangerous to children" was moved into a flat near where I live. He lives no more than 300 yards from the local primary school. During the morning and afternoon, when children go to and from, he has a policeman posted outside his house.
I have found out that he has served a total of 6 years out of 28 years of sentences.
Not only do I pay for his housing and food etc but I also pay for the authorities to keep an eye on him.

What?? Surely we have to come up with a better policy on these kind of monsters.
I dont think they can be reformed. I think they will always be a threat. Our countries soft approach doesnt work. Sexual attacks breed sexual attackers. The government doesnt want them going "underground" but I dont exactly see them with posters and banners and going on free perverts marches.
I am a decent bloke and I want to live in a decent society.

I am not a vigilante by a long way, but I have heard locals talking of taking this monster away and dealing with him. The truth is , I dont know if I wouldnt turn a blind eye. This man is convicted and known. Not a suspect. What would you do?

He's been tried and convicted? He's served 6 years of a 28 year sentence? Wait a while, the police guard will soon be dropped. When this has happened, gather a few like minded people, chop his b***s off, stuff them in his mouth then string him up on a lampost. Make sure that it is known why this has been done to him. Maybe the authorities will start to listen if this happened more often. I stress that this should only be done to CONVICTED nonces who have been let out after a tiny percentage of their sentence. I dont condone doing this to someone whos a suspect. If I was on a jury of someone who'd done this to a convicted nonce, I would consider the reason as "mitigating circumstances" , and I would give a verdict of "Not Guilty".

What is happening here in the US is that there are restrictions on where they can live --- they have to be certain distances from Schools, places where children congregate, etc. More and more these predators are being required to be monitored by GPS Trackers (Ankle Bracelets), and they HAVE to register their addresses, and yes, people who are in the SURROUNDING area are directly informed that a Predator is moving in.

I am sorry to say this ... but there is NO WAY that I see that this type of individual can be reformed ... ever. The desire they have to PREY on our young is there and will be there forever ... mentally, emotionally, physically. Some do opt for Chemical Castration (and again, sorry to say this, but I do think this is a solution), some could voluntarily offer to be castrated, but I doubt that is going to fully solve the problem with their predation.

I understand your frustration about having to pay to feed, clothe, house monsters like this (predators on children) at the expense of the tax-paying public -- this is happening the world over whether they are in the local community or in jail ... it does not matter -- we, the Tax-Payers ARE paying for them to continue to live. So just putting them into jail is not going to solve the problem with the COSTS the Tax-Payers are having to bear the burden of.

I think their punishment should be castration, if they have killed a child as well then they should rot in jail for the rest of their lives with no parole.
You can not let these people out of jail and expect them not to reoffend they dont do this because they want to be evil they do it because they cant help themselves that is what turns them on, In a way its almost like being gay, you cannot not tell someone not to be gay or nurse them back to health they are gay because that is who they are and that is how they feel, peodophiles are the same, that is who they are and they wont be able to stop them selves, it is hard to fight sexual urges.
If we castrate them then problem solved, if anyone touched my child i would do more than that though it would be a slow and very painfull death!!

If they are convicted at sentencing offer the option to the families of the victim , not the offender, 2 options. Since "treatment" has been shown to be ineffective, a life sentence with no chance of parole, or, 1 hour alone with the offender and immunity for anything that happens. Either sentence would virtually guarantee no repeat offenders and would allow the families of victims their choice of appropriate justice. I realize either sentence may sound drastic but the victims suffer for a lifetime and as it is now, courts treat the offenders like they are the victims. Sentences that reflect the nature of the crime as well as the "cost" to the victims are inadequate at present. Paedophilia is not a disease, it is a conscious choice and victims pay forever, so should offenders.

I would give them swift and sure judgment if convicted. Solution? For males and females, I would give them life with no chance of parole. There wouldn't be any plea bargains, appeals, or insanity pleas. I would also ask editors to publicize any and all offenders in local newspapers on the FRONT PAGE, along with their photos.

One thing the judicial system does not take into full consideration is how the child or children will be scarred for the rest of their life or lives. If a child is killed, then the predator would be crucified.

i think they should be publicy castrated then executed....they dont deserve to be allowed to create more frigging Carbon Dioxide and waste perfectly good Oxygen when the planet is clearly dying anyway...
also it makes my blood curdle to think of all the dying children in all the countries who dont have enough food and water and these sick monsters are living it up on coke and chocolate no doubt...

Justice is Justice and its not being obtained by giving glitches in the system (which is what they are) the life of Riley..
the children he reaked his hell on will probably never enjoy the physical intimacy that is their right to have...its a life sentence AT LEAST...

It's a tough one. My first thought would be to torture them or do scientific experiments on them. Then I wonder if that kind of sick act is the act of a normal person, which is obviously no. If that's the case, then they must be sick in the head and to then actually act out these vile fantasies...That's a really deranged person.

Should we punish someone who is mentally ill?

In this case I think so, keep them in prison for life and do scientific experiments on them!

Many many inhumain ways, Where to start.... how about locking them in a cell with a gay rapist? or how about or cut off their bits with no anesthetic? how about a red hot poker up the ****? Dipped in acid feet first?

One thing i hate and that is cruelty to kids in any form, god knows what id do if my two girls were treated in any bad way.

There is nothing that upsets me off more than pedophile, except our government thinks we should give them the freedom to live amongst us when they have served their (usually meager) sentence. I feel that if a person harms a child in this manner, or kills a child, there should be no prison sentence. There should be DEATH!!! There is no cure for these a$$holes.
