Patted on your back, or on your 'backside'?
I see no reason to be offended if just patted on the back, I but I have definite issues with being patted on the 'behind'. That distinction in mind, you should express yourself calmly and professionally during interviews. Tell them how you feel, ask how they feel, ask what company policy is.

it's going to be a normal part of your job for people to pat you on the upper back shoulder if you are working as a airline stewardess. Is that an airhostess? In different parts of the world/ country it isn't considered an insult or flirting. It's considered a normal way of getting someone's attention. Especially if you need to get past a airhostess to get to the bathroom. Getting patted on the buttocks is a different matter entirely.
