I like the humour used in "Monk" and also find the solutions to be very clever and not far-fetched (and not totally impossible for viewers to figure out). Are there any series out there which are similar to "Monk" in any way?

monk is a classic but diagnosis murder is also pretty good. new tricks is similar in the sense that it is light hearted and isnt too hard to work out who dunnit.

I agree about 'MONK', but also 'NCIS', OR 'COLDCASE'
are quite good.
