why does my pregnacy test say yes in the morning and no in the evening?

I have been to the doctor about this and had some blood test done but have to wait and it is confusing me and stressing me out, i was late for my periods and did a test in the morning and it said yes, got excited and couldnt believe it so did one again in the arvo that said no and one again in the morning that said yes.... i have spot a little bit today ???? please help

When you test for pregnancy, it is testing the levels of hcg in your system. This can be found in both blood and urine. When testing with urine, the more concentrate the urine the better. Therefor, taking the test in the morning (am guessing it was with the first wee of the day) was with a much higher concentrated level. In the afternoon, you had probably previously been to the toilet plus had been drinking water or other liquid. Both of these things will lower the concentration of the urine. The lower the concentration, the harder to pick up the hcg levels.

Your urine is more concentrated in the morning, so it is easier for a test to detect the pregnancy hormone. If you got a positive test result, you are pregnant.

your hcg levels is usually higher in the mornings, and i heard drinking water or fluids can effect the results of your test, thats why they say it is good to take the test first thing in the morning your first pee cuz that is when your hcg levels are at its highest..

TESTING IN THE MORNING IS BETTER THE LEVELS IN THE URINE ARE STRONGER, YOU MOST LIKELY ARE PREGNANT , I DONT KNOW ANYONE WHO HAS HAD A FALSE POSITIVE BEFORE. CONGRATULATIONS AND GOOD LUCK
