He had several military advisors. But as for "denouncing" one, the only person that comes to mind would be Gaius Trebonius. Trebonius was one of Caesar's most able general's during the Gallic campaign but turned on him during the Civil War and eventually played a role in Caesar's assassination. In fact, it was Trebonius who alledgedly detained Marcus Antonius outside the senate house while Caesar was being murdered.
