I have a used 96 pontiac sunfire that is showing obvious "toe out" on the drivers side when the passengers side wheel looks straight. some websites suggest that alignments cannot be peformed on worn parts. Can all parts be replaced ? (reasonably easily)

If the lower ball joints, inner and outer tie rod ends, wheel bearigns and front lower control arm bushings are all in good order and nothing is bent from accident damage then there should be no problem.

no, not all of them. i suggest if you do have parts worn out that you take it to a shop and let them find out which ones they are and replace them. then get an allignment. and also no you shouldnt try an allignment unless all steering components are in descent shape. were talking ball joints, bearings, control arm bushings, tie rod ends, etc. only truely easy ones are the tie rod ends and the bearings.
