Because George Bush's policies have alienated so many muslims in the world that anyone who stood up to America, no matter how bad that person might have been, is deemed a hero. Now that he's dead he's a martyr. I suspect that as a martyr Saddam will be more of a threat to the US than he was while alive and in power.

The Arabic countries are convinced that no matter how bad Saddam was, he was still an Arabic. Most Arabic countries view America and Britain as " The Great Liars of the World". This was a quote from one of their prayers during one of their many prayers televised during Ramadan. They are determined that the wast is more evil than anything within their own lands. At the moment I am currently working in the Middle East and am seeing all of this first hand. It is not an easy feeling to see how these people view us Americans. Granted the sentiment of a few is that they are greatful for what we are trying to do, but the majority thinks that we are interfering with their everyday business. Most countries are trying to use Saddam as a martyr to back their case against our so called interference. That is all.

Saddam is not a hero...the point is Saddam did nothing beside the US forces crimes in Iraq.Us and the coalated forces killed over million Iraqi since the invasion.Saddam had many bad things to his people...a lot of crimes (Genocides) but it's nothing beside what the American forces do today in Iraq.Iraq during Saddam was unified..Shyaa and Sonni were living together although most of them couldn't achieve their political rights. There was a country called IRAQ.But now, what is happening there...What after the execution of Saddam...? Nothing.
Arabs and Muslims doesn't hate the American or the west,,Americans re people live under Bush rule as the Iraqis were living under Saddam rule. The matter is super powers demands .We re back again to imperialism age.
Saddam had illegal trial.Bush wanted to get the credit he lost b4 the end of 2006.He wanted to say "hi,i did what i promised...Mythical Saddam the dictator 'll end" ,He wanted to prove that he succeeded in democratizing Iraq. But actually, he didn't...he is working on Iraq destruction ,sucking its resources.
Just watch...you'll find out how it is going on and remember "WHO MADE SADDAM HUSSAIN and WHO ENDED HIS LIFE?","WHO IS THE NEXT?"

Just one more clue for the clueless that Saddam and Islamic militia groups and the other Islamo fascist governments are all tied together in a much larger threat that this country or the rest of the world are willing to face.

well,Iam Arabic and I never hate America, and you know;my wish is to travel to USA and live there and be a member of the American dream.
many persons try to travel abroad but not all of them have the chance to do.

Any way,I think that the world is a big country and all should live together in PEACE and about the 3rd world countries' people, they have no choice for that and this is not their fault like choosing our parents no one can choose them.so we may say that any normal Arabic person will not hate America
and if he/she get the choice, then he/she will travel there.

About Saddam, this is the expected end after what he did.

Its that whole martyrdom thing they have going, plus the fact that Saddam didn't kill them or their loved ones, except of course when he did as in wars with Kuwait and Iran, and again that could be seen as those people dying in martyrdom. Apparently its worse to have been killed by Americans than Muslims. I used to think that at heart we all wanted the same things for our children, to grow safe and happy, but after hearing how they train their children to hate and kill I just don't know what they are like.

To introduce Saddam as a martyr boulsters their cause and reinforces their belief that Americans and their allies are infidels.
