Electricity obviously. We wouldn't have had anything without electricity. It contributed to the development of humanity, to the development of all the other great inventions.

I have a few....
1. the hair-dryer ( my hair would look like crap without it)
2. A car ( Imagine walking for miles just to get to a store)
3. A TV ( I cannot imagine sunday nights without a tv)
4. A Radio ( driving in a car without the radio - boring)
5. Cosmetics (i just love them:-)
6. A computer ( e-mail, internet -- great stuff)
