No it doesn't, and the god-awful movie 21 grams started a string of pointless questions from everyone! Your mass remains the same, there's no reason to believe that you either gain or lose weight. Over time you do get lighter, due to decomposition, and hour hair and nails continue to grow, but their is no immediate weight loss.

A body (living or dead) gains or loses weight only by gaining or losing atoms and molecules. For example, a dead body in which is lodged a 35 pound cannonball would gain 35 pounds of weight neglecting the loss of blood that weighs one pound per pint.

I don't think so...something eats the body up and minerals from your body gets broken down into minerals...so you loose weight........I think!!
