In the Prince of Tennis movie, it said that he had got a brother, but in the anime, he doesn't have any.

Echizen dosen't have a brother, in the original storyline (manga/anime) he dosen't have one. There was probably mention of him having a brother in the movie because in most cases movies based off of popular long running anime series are self made storylines made by the production company and not the original author of the manga, so these storylines tend to sway from the original and add things that are not in the original storyline since movies and filler episodes gives the production staff a chance to create their own stories. Although these storylines don't really pertain to the original storyline thus, echizen dosen't have a brother

I agree with the previous answerer. Ryoma doesn't have a brother.

In the movie it states that Ryoma has an older brother named Ryoga, but it is revealed that Ryoga was a child that Nanjiro (Ryomas father) took in. In the manga it was confirmed that Ryoga is Ryoma's half-brother.

in manga he doesn't have a brother..so, original story, he doesn't have a brother..
