i've had a guitar for 2 years, what's a good wayy to teach yourself how to play the guitar?. and i mean an acoustic guitar.

Just practice as hard as you can. i know from experience it is not as easy as it looks

Go to your local music store, and ask them to help you find a good intro book to acoustic guitar. It's nice to start with learning chords, cause that will toughen up your fingers, and you should be able to play some Beatles songs really soon!

You may want to start by practicing some chords, that will help you coordinate your fingers and get you aquainted with the neck a little.
You could also try a few scale exercises.
I little time and patience and strong will.
Don't give up, and never say never!

Find a local music teacher is the best way. Go weekly. Around 40 bucks a week.

take lessons.. from a teacher.. unless your good at picking up things by ear.. if not hire someone ..
