Heck no! I don't think Charles or Camilla are cut out to be King or Queen. They just don't seem to be able to get on the level of normal people. They seem like the type who would move off to some remote island.

With a constitutional Monarchy, you get what you get, no referendum here thank you very much! Rather spoils the whole idea.
What short, what very short memories people have! It has already been stated that if (by the Grace of God) or when Charles ascends the Throne (I have heard enough lavatorial jokes now children) He will become King Charles III (if He takes that name, it is not certain which of His four names will be chosen) - however, Camilla will NOT be crowned Queen Consort. End of.

Personally I think she should and will become queen. All states, of which the british royal family are head of state, would need to change their constitutions to make her anything but on the death of the Queen. She is a perfectly amicable woman, who charms everyone she meets. She'd be a perfect representative of the UK and Commonwealth and will be a good queen consort.
Many of the other replies are very ignorant to the idea of constitutional monarchy. Camilla cannot become Head of State and will have no decisional powers. All the power of the monarchy shall be held by Charles (who is likely to be crowned king George rather than King Charles, in honour of his grandfather). She will not become head of the Church of England. She did not cause the death of Diana in anyway possible - besides the fact it was an accident due to lack of seat belt wearing and drunken state of driver - Diana was actually concerned about the life of Camilla as can be seen in the Lord Steven's report into the matter. Diana also had an affair before Camilla and charles did, despite popular belief.
Camilla is Charles' childhood sweetheart and deserves the best including our respect.

Everybody needs to go to the Bathroom., Even the queen needs to go for a dump once in a while, but as for watching it, defiantely not, I suppose there is a satelite channel out here somewhere that would televise it.
With regards her being queen, why not ?
I don´t have a problem with charliey, and besides he must genuinely love her, otherwise he would have gone for some one younger and better looking.
Besides before we go off Royal bashing, remember, these people are in the media spotlight from the day they are born 24/7 so when you think how old the queen is and how many scabdals she has been involved in, I think she is doing an enviabl job, I mean look at the likes of Bush and blair, they haven´t been in the media that long, but hey, look at how much muck has been flung in a such a short time.

After Princes Di called her the Rottweiler, I do not think so. I am not British. I am American-German. However, I am kin on the English aristrocraty. Nevertheless, hell Camilla who whored her way through the Bucking ham palace ? Now wears her cloth and jewlery? Hell no.,

Absolutely not, I don't think that Prince Charles will ever be King because his mother's mother died at 101 years of age and his mother will probably be that old or older when she dies. So I doubt that we will probably see her up on the throne.

I have just been reading down the answers and am appalled by the venom in the replies. What has this woman ever done to the populace of the UK? She is polite in public, has never embarrassed the Royals or anyone else. She just has had the misfortune to love someone who is in the public eye. I hope she does not become Queen.......the British public dont deserve her!

No. She is not a good representative for our country. She has no morals. Considering the Monarch is head of the church of England, it would be in extremely bad taste and hypocritical to give her the title or honour of being our Queen. There is enough bad press already about the Royal family. Down here in Cornwall we are disgusted that she has been given the title Duchess of Cornwall. Many people in this Country are already against the Royal family and if she were to be made queen they will lose even more support. Prince Charles has no respect for the Church of England or the people of this country. Camilla has proved her ability to deceive and lie, and Prince Charles has proved how selfish and cold hearted he can be.

She won't be on the throne - Charles will be the crowned monarch, and Camilla will be consort. She won't be a queen regnant.
