basicly, i am very curious at what age is average for marriage these days.
did you get married at 20 years old... at 40? maybe later on?
what age can you legally get married to someone in the u.s.?

I was 17 and my now husband was 19. We have been married for almost 10 years. :)
I had to have my mothers permission to get married but she was more then willing to sign the paper. The age you can married someone in the US with out parental consent is 18

I got married when I was 39 years old but I feel that getting married at the age of 25 would have been better because you can plan your life better and all your committments would be completed before you are 45 whereas late marriage means you have to look after your children till they attain 18 years and by that time you also become old say 60 or more and that puts lots of pressure on you.

Getting married this year. I'll be 24 and he'll be 25. And the age limit is state mandated. Some states have a lower age than others

I don't ever want to marry, of course it causes problems with my boyfriend. I think marriage is overrated. He thinks its the final stage in our relationship.
I feel like its one of those things couples "have" to do. Pssht, I'll do what I want, not what people want. I think the whole idea of marriage is embedded in our heads, not a personal choice more of something that is expected of us.
So my age to marry is never! I'm not saying that I won't commit to my boyfriend. But, why the whole white gown bullshit.
