Victoria Johnson from Agatha Christie's They Came to Baghdad. That girl has so much courage.

Also, Daphne du Maurier's Rebecca wouldn't be bad (when she was still alive). She was electrifying.

Elizabeth Bennet from Pride and Prejudice. It's my all time favorite book and Elizabeth is a wonderful woman and besides she fines love with Darcy who is my favorite male character. I really love this book.
