That would be a very silly UFO! If they had knowledge of our culture, they would know wide-spread panic would follow. It would cut to the quick our basis in Christianity and cause major dissension among our culture. Anyway, I think the government would hush up any type of UFO/ET landings, and we would never know about it.

Have you ever seen "The Day The Earth Stood Still"? It's a terrific movie, by the way. Under the best of circumstances, it would be something like that.

Depends on where they land. If they land in an LA getto the gangbangers would have stolen their hubcaps and graffeti'ed the whole ship before they could say "take me to your leader" If they land in Washington DC their pockets would be empty and their ship taxed before they could utter take me to your leader! And so on.

They would probably hide them and deny that they ever landed on US Soil. Then the people would consider this a goverment conspiracy and demand for answers. Years later, nobody bothers about it.

I do not know what most Americans would do, but I might try hiding till I saw what they were up to. I really would hate to be a lab rat.

well, they would take prisoners and disect some of the aliens and study their ship and tools, weapons, and what they had brought with them.oh, and their life mode and some other nasty stuff i didnt hear about

ps: but it would be cool, because the plabnet would be in a "alert mode" but if the aliens would be very evolved, i think we would learn more bout them than they bout us

Destroy them. Of course they should ask permission. And then, kill them before they kill us.

I don't understand all these people who actually want us to make contact with aliens, who think it would be "neat", after all, why do you want civilization to be turned upside down on its head, as if there arent enough things in this world alread to do that.
