any ideas what the problem is. i can't switch the thing off. i've tried charging it, but doesn't seem to be working. on the playlist i can't scroll up and down. how can I fix this problem. i got this for christmas and it's my favourite present. my parent's gave it to me.

hi i have the same creative zen take the battery out and leave it for 10 seconds then put it back in and it will say rebuilding then its ok also don't try move around its menus to quick or it will freeze again but just do that to fix it

I did the same with my iPod and thought I'd broken it. Look up how to reset it and follow the intructions.
