No. All I can think of is this guy:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Steve_Brodie

"Steve Brodie (1863 – 1901) was an American bookmaker from Brooklyn who claimed to have jumped off the Brooklyn Bridge and survived on July 23, 1886...

...Hoax or not, Brodie became famous, and his name for a time became slang; to "pull a Brodie" or "do a Steve Brodie" came to be understood to do something flamboyant and dangerous."

I think it's too masculine. The only "Brody or Brodie" named folks I know are male, and there is a former Pro Wrestler named Bruiser Brody.

Maybe, you should go for the name Brooke. I think it's way more cuter than Brody. I can't imagine having a girl go by that name. I promise you, she will grow up to hate it.

Yes it is, it is a great name for a boy or girl. I personally prefer (for a girl) spelling it Brodie, but with a y is nice too.

BRODY???? No, no, no, no. that is NOT a good name for a girl, boy, or even a pet, okay, maybe a pet, but nothing human.

It is a little boyish sounding but there is something nice about it for a girl. I picture an independent woman with this name.
