I'm curious because I have a tendency to put my foot down without really being aware of it, whle I'm listening to music in my car.

Yes, it does, but I always catch myself before I get caught by the police.

Yes, especially if you're listening to "Guilty" by Alice Cooper and he gets to the line where he sings "Put my pedal on the metal and I do what I wanna do." Without consciously being aware of it, my foot seems to just press down a little harder on the accelerator. Hope there aren't any cops around!

Yes!
I drive to work and back on a hi-way and will always have music playing.
As soon as a specific tune comes on (like Fatboy Slim's Rockafellar Skank) I put my foot down and begin speeding.
I'm an excellent driver though...hehe

I do the same thing, if the roads are bad I have to turn down the tunes. When the roads are good I crank em up and hit the groovy cruise control lol
~ Peace ~

yes. rock music makes one have the tendency to speed while driving. it is just the opposite when one listen to symphony. it would be worst if you turn the volume real loud.
