First she protested Bush and the Republicans.
Now today the Demos get sworn in and she chants, interupts and protests them off stage.
If the Reps aren't left enough, the Dems aren't left enough, then who in America is left enough for her???
(Also, interestingly I've seen pics of her with Hugo Chaves and the US Communist Party leader)

I'd like to add before I am attacked for it, that Casey Sheehan is a brave and honorable American soldier that died for his country, and I truly respect him for it

We don't a gree on much but this much we agree on: this woman is a nut. Anyone who embraces Chavez is seriously sick. She may as well have planted a big kiss on Mugabe. (and Danny Glover's warm greetings to Chavez means I'll avoid his future films like the plague).
If any Democrat seeks her endorsement, is seen with her at a public function, uses her in any way, he or she is dead meat. Sheehan is just eating up this attention.
She makes The Reverend Al Sharpton look like Rush...

maximum won't word her. And my impact of her is that she is doing this for the attention. (The happyist look I ever observed on her face became whilst the police have been actually donning her away.) So this may well be very complicated to her. So a competent question would be - what is going to Cindy Sheehan do whilst the media would not shop on along with her around like they did interior the Bush admin?

What makes you think that wanting to end an illegal war in which her son died for no purpose makes her leftist?
This is the lie that Repubs spread: if you don't support everything a Repub prez does, you're an enemy of the state and a leftist.
Note that Reps would never attack any one as being a rightist, such as Hitler, Musolini,Pinochet, etc.
I don't think Sheehan has any particular ideology. She wants the war that chewed and spat out her son to end, and she'll befriend anyone that agrees with that.

It is apparent that her politics was greatly affected by her son's death in Iraq. She may have her own agenda, but what bothers me most is why Bush wouldn't meet with her a second time, especially in Crawford? I've been to DC before for different reasons, but have had accessibility to my congresswoman. I'm sure Bush has his reasons for not meeting with her, but he could have presented a "kinder and gentler" image (sounds familiar?) if he would have at least given her 5-10 mins. out of his vacation to hear her out. Other than that, to me, her politics is like water off of a duck's back. Her husband must have negative feelings about her because they filed for divorce. Meeting Chavez & communists is kind of pushing her away from the mainstream, though.

Cindy Sheehan is a total left wing fanatic. However, much as I don't care for this woman I will give her credit for being honest in her convictions regarding the war. I base this on the very fact that she did protest Democrats the same as Republicans.

I lost my sympathy for Sheehan long ago.
No doubt her son's loss was devastating. But when you side with a total crack pot like Hugo Chavez that is doing his very best to incite a war against America, you have gone to far.
Even her family has ask her to stop. Telling her she is clouding the memory of her son.
The Republicans don't want her now the Democrat's don't either, guess she better stick with Hugo.

Maybe Cindy realized that the Dems used to her to regain power? While it was obvious to the rest of us that was what was happening, maybe it just took her a little longer to wake up to that fact.
I also think she enjoyed the attention and notoriety that her little protest gave her at the expense of her sons life in his service to the country. I wonder how far left she was before her sons death? It is a shame she has destroyed her sons memory with her ranting and anti USA rhetoric

Why are you so obsessed with this woman? She lost her son, I don't think she is seeing it in colors of "left" and "right" but rather as an American and a Mother. If Bush had just met with her a lot of this could have been avoided altogether. I am a Mother and I feel her loss, I can't say that I am obsessed with her like you are, though.

Cindy Sheehan does not favor any politician whether Republican or Democrat. She is against all of them whoever sits in the government.
