I want to know about skype services and what is it? How we make call from this.

Well its not only Skype, there are a whole lot out there. Yahoo messenger with chat lets you do the same too. Its called VOIP (voice over internet protocol). But these are good for only computer to computer calls. If you have to make a call to a mobile or a landline number then you have to pay. The call quality depends on the network traffic and is not consistent, Still its very cheap.

If you want free calls both you and the person[s] you want to talk to need to have access to a computer with Skype installed and a skype account. If the one[s] you want to talk to doesn't have access to a computer with skype you can make calls to plain old telephony networks from skype, but that will cost you. Quite cheap for international calls though!

Apparently so it is free, I had someone recomend it to me and he lives in Germany, he gave me his nic name to look up. i think it is a lot like MSN web chat and yahoo web chat.
