FedEx = Federal Express (though now it actually goes by FedEx Corporation now, Federal Express was the original company in 1971, then it was the FDX Corp. in 1989, then finally it became FedEx Corp. in 2000)

DHL = Dalsey, Hillblom, and Lynn. They are the founders'(Deutsche Post) last names. Adrian Dalsey, Larry Hillblom, and Robert Lynn to be exact. DHL is owned by Deutsche Post.

UPS = United Parcel Service
