I really believe that this is such a careless and dangerous gesture to watvh a DVD whilst driving. So many people only think of themselves and not others. Do people like this think of others outside of their vehicle , let alone those family, freinds and children INSIDE the car? Police pull you over for using your mobile phone ( Australia) perhaps they sdhould do the same for DVD watchers inthe car?

they are there as a courtesy to other drivers,
they get distracted by the dvd, and crash into you
which allows you to claim insurance because they weren't paying attention.
so really the people who have dvds on their dashboard are good samaritans

If I am driving I am listening to it,but its mostly for the kids or adults when its a long trip..pure entertainment =)

Well the T.v in our van is in the back so the driver can't see it, but I guess you could say they are either really good drivers or really ignorant.
