I have a friend that is bi-sexual but decided that he prefers men.
He now calls himself a straight-gay man, meaning he doesn't display some of the attributes often stereotypically associated with a gay man.
I've heard the term 'lipstick lesbian' thrown around counter to
the tomboy stereotype of a lot of lesbians. Maybe that is what she is refering to.
I guess ultimately, you can just ask her what the term means.
Peace

Yes and no. It is the right of everyone to define their sexuality how they want including the label they attach to it.
The more important question is not what your girlfriend calls herself but what she desires in a partner whether it be gender, height, color, etc. It may be she can be attracted to both sexes.
That does not mean she is automatically finds everyone attractive or that she is unable to be monogamous.
The term bisexual has been much maligned in the straight, gay and especially lesbian communities to the point that many people are reluctant to use the word to describe themselves.
You should not get to hung up on words, labels, and terms and instead talk to her about how she defines herself and how you feel about each other.

in a pure sense to be "bi" anything it implies a 50/50 split. But as humans never can be held to rigid definitions (we are way too imperfect for that), I prefer to identify sexuality as a percentage as in 10/90 or 40/60 or whatever (without tryign to be too precise). So anyone who is more straight than gay might well choose to use the term straight-gay to indicate their straight side dominates. Thus I guess it could follow that a gay-straight would be more than 50% gay.

did she make that term up herself? haven't heard that
before :) for me, this could mean two things:
1. she is straight and gay, like bisexual.
2. she is ultra gay and absolutely straight about that, so shes
the ultimate lesbian.
guess this doesn't help. sorry.

ok, a great number of questions. in the beginning your sexual orientation would not remember on the critiques of folk around you - I are conscious of it would make it extra durable for a gay individual to settle for themselves, yet a individual's sexuality isn't inspired via cultural condemnation or acceptance the two way. it is stressful to assert what you're in keeping with this small superficial wall of ideas - you assert you have allure in the direction of the two females and boys in spite of everything. in spite of the undeniable fact that your allure to adult men seems to be maximum important, in spite of the undeniable fact that disgusted you're with your self for it, so i could suspect you're gay. yet extremely i do no longer understand. it extremely is something you come across for your self, no longer something you could learn. gay or promptly, i think of you're able to desire to truly earnings from gaining awareness of to settle for your self and others in spite of sexuality. And while you're, then no, there's no hormone scientific care that effectively differences homosexuals into heterosexuals. We do merely no longer understand sufficient pertaining to to the reasons to do something to alter sexual orientation - and why the hell could you want to besides? it is all healthful, organic and relaxing, so merely try to settle for your self no rely what you're.

There is no such thing as a straight-gay. She either is or isn't.
