Because the lakers have no leader. Kobe is a great player, but selfish. when he makes a great pass, he feels it's his points. The rest of the team knows this and they play more nervous that they'll dissappoint him than their coach. They start to hear the boos, they get twitchy fingers and the ball starts to feel slippery. They look around for Kobe instead of the team. The Kings have no one like that, so they just play the way they're coached-which is why there is a coach.

Hey, the NBA is all about runs... Kings just had a good run, while the Lakers had an offensive and defensive slump. Lots of teams blow huge leads every day. It is very common.

Without Lamar Odom, Lakers' Defense have been horrible.

After Lamar Odom went down, Lakers wins have been because of scoring points not because of Defense.
Just check Lakers' Opponent PPG after Odom went down.

did you see those idiot refs blow a call when kobe was trying to score towards the end of the 4th? he got fouled, but those gramps chickened out and let it go, because they supposedly don't want to determine the outcome of the game in the last seconds. wow, what geesers. probably why that 21-point lead disappeared.
