For girls I think cheek dimples are cute. But it seems that people do not notice them very often.
For guys cheek dimples is a waste.

Dimples on ur cheek make ur face blush... we cannot see them in there good shape when they are artifical...Dimples with some good depth are the signs of Cuteness and sweetness and simplicity of the person's though.
When thats on Guys....the above will be applied and thats what gurls want...so DUDE thats an added advantage and not a waste

Ok this is a very fascinated question..
I read alot of about fengshui (chinese astrology) so I know abit about dimples...to those who has dimples on their face are usually those who like to drink alot ( alcohol drinks).
Some people may see dimples as a god gift to human and it will enhance the appearance of a person but according to chinese fengshui, those who has dimples are usually heavy drinkers.
