K-12, most of the world has already passed us.
For the record - Bush has spent the most money on education at the federal level in the history of the country. But facts be damned.
It is just proof that federal spending on education is not the answer.

well stranger things have happened on this planet in the past...i sure hope china,inida will learn from u.s.a mistakes,then that would be a ...good education...am i biased if i say that these 2 countrys are famous for simply copying any think good then on selling it themselves,blatant plagurism of tests ect,probably !!!!

I think Japanese and European education are already ahead. With Bush making cutbacks to education, environment funds and social security to support defense policy, America will have more bombs, more wars, more business for the military-industrial complex, and more street people on crack who can't read.
