Has anything in your life changed? I'm talking about major changes in your eating habits? excercise more/less/different? stressed? All these things can affect your menstrual cycle and cause you to become irregular. If you are concerned enough, continue to be late for more than just a couple of days, or are experiencing other symptoms, you should consult your doctor/gyneocologist. I highly doubt your pregnant, although spotting is common in early pregnancies and is sometimes confused as a light period, but if your pregnancy test came back negative I WOULD NOT WORRY ABOUT IT.

there are different intervals during a females life where their period gets messed up. it's part of growing. other than that, I have 2 kids and for both, I had my period over half the time I was pregnant. If you took a pregnancy test and it was negative, it probably is right, but take another one if you are still worried. otherwise, I would go to see a gynocologist to get birth control to regulate your periods

Doesn't sound like you need any. You took a test and its negative so that means your NOT pregnant. You can have abnormal periods but still be "normal". Don't worry about it, it's probably nothing to worry about anyways. Good luck!

It could be perfectly normal to miss a period if you were worried about being pregnant. Since it has been 3 months and your HPT was negative, then you are not pregnant.

stress, diet, vitamin or protein deficiency (particularly iron). Don't worry about it, because if you had sex 3 MONTHS ago and you've had periods regularly since then until now, you can't be pregnant. It's just, not possible, to my knowledge. If it's more than a month late, go see your doctor, but if it's just a few days late, don't worry about it.
