If I had to choose it would be Back To The Future and Nightmare On Elm Street.BTTF for having the handsome funny Mr.Fox and NOES cause Freddy was unlike any horror movie bad guy before or since.

The Breakfast Club.

Best movie ever made, we all can relate to one of thier charecters. Plus nothing is bettr than watching the 'brat pack'.

Another movie to concider is The Outsiders. But I think it was made before the 80's.

Say Anything... John Cusak is awsome and we get the song "In Your Eyes" from Peter Gabrielle.

Very close second... another John Cusak film.... Better Off Dead. Just as funny now as it was then.

The Abyss..

Why: I love the marine environment and enjoyed the moral of peace and togetherness at the end of the movie.

PREDATOR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Why?? Great cast. Great plot. Great LINES!!!!!!! Rivetting!

You will laugh, you will cry. Edge of the seat entertainment that can be watched over and over.

Another honourable Arnie mention is The Terminator. Breakthrough stuff that is. Also really memorable lines.
