I'm tired of my cd player and i just want something more portable so do i need to buy any special plug ins?

Yeah mp3 player are way better than portable CD players because they take less space and you can get more CDs into it.
Just look for something afordable, with a good capacity of storage and compatible with the programs you already have in your computer.
You do need a computer for sync your mp3 player.

mp3 players are quite easy to use. their manuals are very explanatory. usually, all you need to do is plug them to your computer though their usb cable and transfer mp3s like it was an external hard drive. in the case that additional software is needed (like in iPod for example), manufacturers provide it on a cd or give you a link to download it.

The easiest mp3 player to use would be an iPod nano.
The manual is simple and you dont have to buy anything.
The only you need to download is iTunes.
