Prepare well, practice questions they might ask you, write down any questions you may have, triple check your resume for errors, and make sure you're there 5 minutes early. Dress appropriately, and comfortably so your clothes don't distract you.

That way, when you get there, you WILL be ready. :) And more confident. During your interview, really listen to what your interviewer is saying, ignore any negative thoughts in your mind. Keep your hands still and not fidgety, but don't be too stiff. Tell yourself that you are the person they are looking for to hire, and then make them see why that's true. Don't put too much pressure on yourself, and if you freeze up, admit that you're a little nervous but also excited about the job.

Good luck!

Okie, first thing: look sharp, dress to kill and comb your hair.

Next: imagine a scenario of how a normal (in your own terms) interview would start, progress and end. Try it with a serious interviewer, a corky interviewer, a funny interviewer, a 'terminator' interviewer.. just any blinking interviewer you can think of.

Then, practice every answer to any probable question and also try to figure out answers to questions you know you can't answer.

Lastly, work out worst-case scenarios.. like if the interviewer is the kickboxing brother to your ex who found out that you cheated on her during Christmas. I mean, what would you do? How would you handle the situation?

Oh and yes, be punctual (wear a watch, it creates an impression that you actually can manage your time properly) and be nice to anyone you meet on the way to the interview cause who knows, it just might be the boss of the company you are interviewing for!

Best of luck. Breathe.
