The best time to conceive is when you ovulate. Unless that is happening you won't get pregnant.

For conceiving the right time is usually 14 days before your next period. But as the period itself is not always a precise clockwork it might seem difficult to know if it is exaclty 14 days before your next period. The ideal procedure is thus to monitor your body temperature and know exactly when you are ready for conceiving.
But getting pregnant doesn't always is relying upon when you are ready. The presence of sperm with the egg at the right moment is eually important. Sperm usually takes a few hours to reach to the egg after ejaculation inside the female body and can survive for 2-3 days.
In your particular case sexual activities between the 10th to 13th day from the start of your last period have the highest petential for ceonceiving a baby.

As they said, the best time is when you ovulate but sometimes that can be a bit tricky to calculate. Here's a site that offers a free hormonal calendar that I found quite useful when I was trying to get pregnant.

Hope it can help. :)
