Is there one? I find it extremely insulting that the word 'nymphomaniac' refers only to women. Almost like it's a disease for a woman to like sex. What's the name for a man who is addicted to sex besides labelling him a 'sex addict' as if he has no control of his action therefore not responsible. Anyone know another word?

Nymph is greek for maiden. Therefore, it makes sense that it only refers to women. The term for male hypersexuality is satyriasis (Satyr being a lascivious man).
