The BEST way to get to Vivo City is by MRT (Mass Rapid Transit), Singapore's train system.
Ok, first of all, you must know where you're coming from.
Check out the nearest MRT station available around your living area.
Visit http://www.streetdirectory.com/travel/index.php?pid2=18561&aid2=143128 by indicating your Starting Address, choose MRT/LRT with the name of MRT station which is nearest to your place. Then select the Mode of Travel by MRT and Enter.
Finally, you'll have to board off at HarbourFront MRT station. This is also the last stop for North-East line train system. From there, you'll have to come out of the station and look for directions to walk to Vivo City, which is less than 5 mins. There is a under passage in the station which links 2 shopping malls - Vivo City & HarbourFront Centre. The directions are very clear and easy to follow. Have fun visiting Vivo City. For your info, there is a clear sea view at the back of Vivo City, which is directly opposite Singapore's famous tourist hotspot - Sentosa. You can take spectacular nice pics with your friends or family members there. And if you've more time, try to go HarbourFront Centre as well.

3. Good. It is indeed a good decision to have that land area converted into a mega mall, since we already have Singapore Expo and Suntec. That's how it can become a special landmark because it is after all a mega mall in a small country. Wide variety of merchandise and services. But then, it's not perfect, as there would be room for improvement. Also, we will need to see how far Vivo City will go after the novelty dies off. If it still does well, then the place really deserves better ratings.
