Depends on where you live. Some orchids are cheap (dendrobiums), othere quite expensive. Calla lilies tend to be a bit pricey as well.
That's why I'm always trying to grow my own flowers.:-)

daylillys are just a beatiful flower but some of the flowers are just unbelievable some the the roots sell for like 70.00 each but the colors are just unreal-you should check them out!

I believe orchids are the most expensive on the normal market.

Heliconia (Lobster Claw) are very elegant and very expensive. I don't know what are the "most".

my personal favorite flower is Birds of Paradise!!! its very unique and is VERY beautiful. they tend to be really expensive especially when they are not in season!!! hope i helped.

I think it's the orchid because it's comes in so many different varieties and colors, tought to manage and so on.
