Do you use iTunes? That is the easiest. You can rip the songs from your CDs and it will automatically convert them to the right format. Then you just connect your iPod to the computer using the USB port and send the songs to your iPod. It is very easy.

the priority is, maximum folk purchase their track for his or her iPod from iTunes. iTunes songs are DRM secure, which means that you'll really really play them in iTunes or your iPod. there's a application noted as Hymn which will unprotect them for you. After that, you may convert the songs to MP3 format and burn them to a CD.

Use Itunes.
Put your favourite CD's into the computer when Itunes is on and it will prompt you to convert and install them on your nano.
