You know, that is a good question. I suppose it would depend on the level of anger and insanity I have reached at the time I would make the threat, or want to fullfil it. There is a guy I work with that has been some what harassing my cousin, and being that I am protective over her, I threatened him the other day, that if he ever did ANYTHING to her that she told me she found wrong, I would personally hog tie him, string him up by his testicles, and castrate him.
I am kind of weird, and as far as I know, I am not THAT insane, so I think I mostly bluff.
I will make his life a living hell though.

Well, my threats usually entail some type of negotiation with my 3-year old. If you throw that truck, I will take it away! Usually, I follow through with them but sometimes I under estimate my son, and I end up thinking, "How in the world did I end up giving in?" He's King Negotiator.

I dont make threats, I just state the obvious. If I need to whoop an a**, I do it. It's been a while, but once you get a taste for blood and a handfull of hair, it's always there.

Yeah I am - but I don't threaten unless I'm already WAY past the point of caring and have just been trying to hold it in.
