My best friend is getting married and I am her maid of honor. I am planning a 'Kitchen Tea' party and I really need some ideas of some games to play, what food I should provide etc. Any help would be greatly appricated!

A kitchen tea party is where a whole bunch of girls get together and they give the bride gifts for her new kitchen! It's kinda like a bridal shower. Oh and it's certainly not her hens night!

First of all, start asking around to see if anyone has a silver tea service you can borrow. (It just really ups the theme a lot!). Secondly, start shopping for decorated sugar cubes (I bought some off eBay from a candy maker that were absolutely excellent!). And then, begin on the games! I found some great games that people had not played before on the website listed in the sources. I think it was like $20 for a one year subscription, but worth every penny - we even used some of their games at the bachelorette party! I'd pick a couple that people are comfortable with, that you know they've played before and then throw in a couple that look interesting to you. The tissue paper bride is always a favorite, but do it with some style - use the tissue paper you would use when wrapping gifts, don't use toilet paper. At the shower I just threw, an 80 year old lady actually won that game. Feel free to email me if you want some personalized advise. Make it the best shower anyone has ever been to! Have fun with this one!
