i had it about 15 years ago and it was pretty scary. i had an awesome dr. who went in deep enough to get all the pre-cancer cells out and i've been fine all these years, never had a problem since. i get my regular exam every year, so be sure to always do that as they can catch it if it ever does come back, which from what i understand it can.

I have had the dysplasia, and went through 3 leep procedures. Since then, my paps have been normal (2 years now). I know after my 1st leep, I had to have another colposcopy done about a month later to check for more cells, thats when I had the 2nd leep. The next colp came out ok, but my pap 6 months later showed more precancerous cells. But like I said, that was 2 years ago and the last 2 paps came back normal. Hope this gives a little encouragement.
