Who said anything about a female goldfish? I just got a male goldfish and I am wondering if he is a virgin. If he isn't, I'm taking him back.

Put a female goldfish in the tank with him. If he goes at her like he knows what he's doing, then he isn't a virgin. But if he shies away and acts all scared, then probably he is.
