hmmm.. lets see, a good gaming pc must have:
1. Powerful processor
2. big memory
3. dedicated video ram
4. fast hard disk
i guess you passed. congrats!
for me, if you can:
1. have a SATA driven HARD-DISK
2. big SCREEN and powerful SPEAKERS
3. and make sure, your PC is well cooled!!! games makes the hardware get really really hot!
my two cents

Actually - I think for brand new games it is a little light. I would go with a Core 2 Duo ( intel ) (one that has 4mb Shared Cache) -
Intel Core 2 Duo E6600 Conroe 2.4GHz 4M shared, is a good deal on newegg for 319.00
But more importantly if you really want to game you need a better graphics card - I Would get a nvidia 7900 series or better. 8800 is the only card right now that will support Direct X 10.
The 7600GT series is a great card, but if you want to run your settings on high ( especially with FPS games ) you will need more horsepower.
Another option is buy an SLI motherboard and a 7600GT - if you dont like the performance you can always add another 7600GT.

It's a good setup for a gaming machine depending on what games you play and how much space they need, overall not bad... but by the description it's used 4x512 chips and 2 HDs gave it away... a new system with 2 gigs of ram would be 1 gig chips
I'd go with the biggest monitor you can afford... 19" and larger are way done in price if you got the space for it

This is an entry level system for gaming, the GPU is a bit small
Pros: lots of ram thats good to see
Cons: you will be limited to the selection of games that will run on such a small GPU.
Suggestions:
save up for a second GPU and run a SLI format or get one of the 8800 series badboys.
Your eyes will thankyou.

it somewhat is going to play the main modern video games, yet maximum of them will artwork slow on extreme settings. Why? Celeron isn't the gaming cpu sequence. Get an i3,i5 intel cpu, or a Phenom quad center from AMD.

it's not bad.
if you could get a 512mb GPU then it would be much more better since for gaming you need 512mb.
also the rams, i think 2 X 1024 would be better.
the harddisk is just 320gb which is not that good if you wanna install many games on it. get a 500gb and you won't have any problem.

Yes it is (kinda)! (im jealous....hehe)
To make it better:
-a Core 2 Duo Intel Processor should be better..(2.00Ghz or better)
-a pricey 512mb video card should be better
-a bigger hard drive is a must (200GB or better so you can store TONS of games and music etc.)
- have an LCD display that is 20 inches or bigger...(make sure the response time is 4ms or less=better quality, expensive 8ms=standard, less expensive)
-an audio card that suppors 5.1 surround sound
- good quality speakers (and headsets)

Looks good to me. Fast Internet connection and a good monitor and you are all set. If you go the LCD route, make sure it is non-ghosting.
