by 08.30am on 09/01/07....if I leave Ireland by car at 07.30 that morning will I make it on time? My father in law has got his camel stuck in the sand and needs me to tow him.

Dear Mr Darcy

I would suggest you might be pushing it a tad. I would not be as blunt as to say impossible. I would suggest that your Father in Law gets a Camel with larger feet or have it fitted with sand shoes, this will save both him and you a lot of time in the future.

In short, I reckon that if you give yourself an extra 20 minutes, say leave at 7.10, you should be fine. Don't forget the tow rope.

Depends if you are running on Irish time or Egyptian Time...

As Arabs in Egypt are never in a rush and time means nothing to them, I'm sure you will make it!!
