I just quite drawing and writing because I'm no good at it, after practicing for years. Now I realize that there isn't anything I'm good at. Can you please help me figure out a way to find my talent?

Every one has talents. Some people have talents in math, others in organization. Other people have talents in sports, still others have gardening, crafts, sewing, singing whatever. The thing is that usually our talents are associated with something we love and have a passion for. And talents are not fully developedd the moment we start to use them either. It takes years to develope a talent. If you enjoyed drawing and writing perhaps you just need to explore different avenues. Maybe you aren't that good with poetry but would be really excellent with writing children's rhymes. Perhaps you should get a "how to" book on learning to draw something different than what your used to. Try different things until you find something that you feel you could do and enjoy to do. I am an artist and drew and painted, and also did graphics and murals. A couple of years ago I tried mosaics and found a whole new talent that I never knew I had.

Everybody has something to work with. It might be something that you're doing and don't realize or acknowledge. A talent doesn't have to be in music or art. It can be your way with people, you being a good cook, a good problem solver, a good counselor, your ability to make something creative out of what seems like nothing...the list goes on...something is there. Keep an open mind and you might use your undiscovered talent at just the right time.

I'm sure you have loads of talent. Just think about the things you like to do and focus on those. You may think you aren't good at drawing and writing but you might be your worst critic. Show your work to others and see what they think. You may be surprised. Good luck.

There are many more talents than the obvious, the talent of patience, of listening, of teaching, or working hard. Don't think you HAVE TO be artistically talented, but I will say that if you love doing that then don't give up, Michael Jordan was turned down when he first tryed to play basketball, but he loved it so much he kept practicing until it became second nature to him. Don't be hard on yourself..............

You may not realize what it is YET, but you have many talents. God gave us each our own talents, some seem small and not so important..all are great and unique. Yours are right in front of you!
