Never underestimate the power of a family. Even if you dont get along with them, they are very important to you and your mental health. Never forgive a guy for something horribly wrong he did to you, and go on in a relationship. Just leave... Now is better that later... If you forgive easily ,... you will be hurt more and more and more...

Oh, God, that's a really good question. I wish I could start my life over at 14 and completely go a different direction with it. First of all, I would have never married at 20 years old; that was way too young. Secondly, I would have followed my dreams that I never did because of getting married so young. I am now 42 and still wonder where I would be if I only accomplished the things I wanted to do in life instead of doing what I was told to do. *sigh* Life is hard enough without adding the "what if" factor into it.

I think you summed it up ... you accept the situation and move one., But NOT before taking responsibility for your mistake. Failing to do so generally leads to you making the same mistake over and over again.
Few mistakes are the end of the world kind of mistakes and MOST people will forgive you before you forgive yourself

I have made mistakes but I have lived and learned by my mistakes. None of us can be perfect enough to walk on water.
When we don't learn by our mistakes I think it because we can't forgive ourselves. We just need to be the best person we can be to the best of our ability.
