i really like this guy
and i get the feeling it's a low down thing,
except he is single and so am i.
any advice on how to deal with this?

"Down low," yes. It's when a gay or bisexual man keeps his same-sex attractions hidden from his girlfriend or wife, and acts on these urges on the side without telling her.
I don't know how they manage to compartmentalize so effectively, but many of these men consider themselves "straight."

Its where anyone is cheating on the side. Doesn't mean its gay. Its called on the Down low.

yep. Oprah did a really good show last season on "the low down" you should see if you get get a copy. The lady who wrote "Waiting to Exhale" and her gay, "low down", husband were on the show. it was informative
