I had a very errie happing a few days ago.
New Years Eve I was driving down the interstate and stopped for gas at weigels station alongside the interstate. While I was it that weigels station I had a bad feeling while I was pumping my gas. I was very glad to get out of there but I didn't know why? I had stopped at this station hundreds of times?
About 6 hours later I found out from my parents that one of my good friend's dad had got run over at this same exit while trying to flag down some one due to car trouble. (He was the first death of 2007 in my county)
He got killed in the exact area that I felt anxious about.

What could have caused me to almost know something bad was going to happen here before it happened?

I believe all of us have some psychic abilities but most of us don't recognize it or are uncomfortable with it and try to avoid it. There is a lot we don't know about how our brains work but I think everyone has had premonitions of disaster or violence. In my life there have been many times when I had a premonition that was so strong I was unable to ignore it and each time, my premonition was correct. I've learned to go with those "feelings" and at times, by doing so, I've been able to help someone avoid bad circumstances.

It'spossible, I've heard things like that now and then. I have a weird thing, myself: Every once in a while, I'll have this obsession from out of nowhere with a place. It's usually a country. I just can't stop thinking about it, I'll find out about it, look at pictures... and then something hugely evil will be on the news about it a week later or so (I've had this about places like Bali, India, Paraguay, you name it).
Weird, huh?

I personally think that it's just a statistical necessity. There are so many people that get bad vibes about a place they are that it has to happen sooner or later. I don't think that it's more than a random chance. Think about how many times you've had bad feelings about a place and nothing's happened.

maybe God has his way of warning us, or giving uneasy

feelings about situations to protect us, who knows?

i was in a hiking accident 3 years ago. i sensed other

hikers i saw may have similar accidents. all 3 of them did,

and, sadly, one of them drowned. sad, and weird.
