Simply: if bcg vaccine given deep into new born could it cause TB disease or not?

are you talking about a mantoux test (for tuberculosis)? why is your baby having this test so early? if you are talking about a TB test, it will make no difference how deep the injection went. the components are dead, and the only difference would be how shallow or deep the reaction would be if it were positive. but a TB test is not a vaccine. it only tests for TB, it doesn't protect a person from TB.

if you are talking about the immune globulin shot that will offer some protection against TB, that one isn't supposed to be given intradermally, although, it probably won't make much of a difference. that shot is not a vaccine, either, but rather a temporary protection against TB infection. there are no live TB components in the immune globulin shot, just antibodies.

BCG Vaccine will never be injected deep into the body like most other vaccines. It should be intradermal but occasionally is a little deeper. No real harm is done if it is slightly deeper than the ideal, but the scar may be bigger and it may be a bit more painful for a while.
