I'm not being racist at all first off. I just hear about people being Jewish as a racial trait and don't understand the difference. Lie Jerry Seinfeld for example. I hear he's Jewish but to me he just looks like another white guy. What's the difference, if any?

Sometimes, but not always: dark, curly hair and pale skin. Sometimes you can tell by the definition of the nose. At least that is what my Jewish grandmother tells me.

Mostly by a person's last name. As well, if you see them wearing the head covering, you know they're a Jew. Ethnically, you can sometimes tell, but not all the time.
A lot of Romans (Italians) converted to Judaism during the first century, and then the family records of all the Jewish families were lost in a fire in Jerusalem. Since Judaism is a religion of tradition, the traditions are passed down from generation to generation. So, today a lot of Jews are descendants from Italy, Russia, and other Europeon countries where people converted, and not necessarily of the middle east. So, it's not always about ethnicity. The Yemenites are Jews who may actually have Abraham's blood in their heritage.

Sometimes you can't even tell a Hispanic from White. Or dark skinned Indian from Black person. The fact of the matter is, if you are really educated and know your history YOU CAN TELL who is Jew by their name. Names that ends with Berg, Stein, Mann, Mier, Mir. Though many of these people look White, the fact is they were/are a Jews origin. Same thing for all races, your names speaks for your ethnicity.

Jews, unlike other groups, is not only a religion but also a nationality. It is not necessarily a race. By definition, a Jew is one whose mother is a Jew or one who converts to Judaism. Anyone who meets either of the criteria is a Jew, no matter what their race, nationality or religion is.

It's their cultural background. - Also, Jews also have certain features as most cultures do. Look at his nose.... Although, I'd have to admit I wouldn't have thought it seeing him for the first time... but, when I was told he was jewish, I was like ohhhhhhhh okay... yeah he does look Jewish =)
