I love it. There's something about learing about the past that fascinates me. I live in rural Georgia and there are lots of things around here that come from the days of the civil war. Some history is ugly, but some is beautiful.

I absolutely love it. Almost majored in it but decided to go with music instead but still i love reading history books and things about history.

History is great to know. It helps to predict events in the news today as the old saying "history repeats itself" is very true. Also, the origins of opinions, cultures, and boundaries is important to know in our now-global civilization.

My 8 year old grandson just loves it.. I bought him a couple of dozen books last weekend! He can quote the names of presidents, what they did in office, dates of their birth and death. Just amazing!!!
And here I was all worried that he played Xbox too much. Obviously he has opened a book once in a while.

some parts of history are pretty cool. other parts just suck. u have to know where u came from though.
